Gave up 4 ER in 7 IP. NOT in line for win. ERA up to 3.30

66-81 - Elimination Number - 6

Adopted Giant: Daryl Maday - The roller coaster ride continues - Augusta to Norwich to San Jose, the latter of which has been a success so far. 1.59 ERA.

LOLtoworld
Cain finishes 8-14 with a 3.76 ERA. He won just two games in which he allowed more than one run, and in one of those, he pitched eight innings and allowed two runs. It appeared that he might have been pitching hurt — or that he might have simply given up on the season — a few weeks ago, but he rebounced to allow four runs in his final three starts. Of course, that didn’t help him to add to his win total at all.

They’re still trying to push the “Cain is/was injured” angle. The alternative is worse though.

There amass been plenty of articles written this spring about the stud shortstop Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum , as well as the fluid young outfielders and thirteen basemen Kevin Frandsen.
