Natto gets the run scored on Grant’s home run.
"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.

This is so cool. This game could be responsible for a slight change in the MLB Official Rules.

Can we instant replay the first 158 games? I think we hit a few more home runs.
Don't think, it could only hurt the ballclub.

Giants actually filed the protest.
Bengie got removed because it was a single. If it was a HR immediately, Bengie would have stayed in the game.

yeah, that’s what I said, but then I was told to “chill.”

It's Bochy's right to want Bengie back in the game
I’ve got no problem with him holding it up and filing the protest.

I said “chill” because he kept ranting and raving about Bochy, not because of the protest thing.

What he said was that he supported more funds only if there was a pullout date Not endless funds without a timeframe.

I think I liked the old one better.

Sorry if I went over the line, but some of the things this team cares about bugs me. Last year they pulled Randy Winn to “protect” his .300 batting average, and this year they play Bengie into the ground in a lame attempt to get him to 100 RBI’s. How about caring about your won-loss record??

Really? I don’t think it had anything to do with winning the game. It had to do with her personal goals. Once it was ruled a HR and Bengie got two ribbies, Bochy saw the possibility that Bengie could reach 100 RBI’s.

why would he pull Bengie in the first place if he was worried about winning the game? It’s too early in the game to think about putting in a faster runner.

It’s the same manager who took out Ishikawa in the 4th inning due to the emergence of a lefty reliever. No one is sure why he does what he does.

Leaving one of your best players is also a good way of winning the game.
