There’s a pattern when fans of other teams participate nicely in gameday threads: everyone interacts with them nicely, and then one or two people goes nuts at them for being there for no reason, and then the person feels obliged to leave.

With Roberts and Vizquel in the starting lineup….
To the tune of “Let’s Go Giants”:

There is no reason why either show ever be in the lineup the rest of the season.

I don't have time to crunch the numbers, but
it looks to my eyes like the Rox have another year of extreme home/road splits this year – something that started when they installed the humidor. Livan gets the soggy hard-to-hit ones, Timmy gets the normal crips ones that won’t break, curve, etc in the thin mile-high air, and zip out to the outfield when hit. I am sick of years of this crap now, the Rox being the worst team in the NL on the road, and supermen at home (thankfully – splits not as extreme this year as previous).

Don't worry
Hurdle has come up with a few real gems too. His signature move is to bat the starting pitcher with RISP in the late innings, then pull him anyway.

I will never understand the point of the “Pinch hit RHH to face LHP, bring in RHP to face RHH, pinch hit LHH” maneuver for the side of the manager on defense. It’s just a big waste of time.
