The “ago” part was a typo. I think that solves this problem.
My Dave Righetti is better than your Dave Righetti.
I thought that 8 days a week was about as far as you could go.
Billy Hayes: His job is better than yours.
That’s actually a shoddy colloquialism that’s entered into the realm of accepted speech, kind of like “I could care less.” In reality, the phrase is “8 days a week is about as far as you could ago.”
You can see where the confusion comes from. You can actually regular go up to 12 days a week.
My Dave Righetti is better than your Dave Righetti.

My god! He's found the time machine!
Someone tell him to go back to 1971 and kill Scott Spezio’s father!
Scott McClain: Great story, no place on the 2009 Giants.
Regular Russ Ortiz: Do not want.

Kinda like those annoying commercials on KNBR where they say “We can save you UP TO 50% or more.” huh?
Or my personal favorite
They say money is green. But no, money is power. But power is money. And money is money, which is green, too. And I should know!
Billy Hayes: His job is better than yours.
Why should she know?
I have been PEEING MY PANTS waiting for her to explain that.
