Aaron Rowand & Skeet Ulrich: Separated at Birth...?
Submitted for your consideration:
Above: Aaron Ryan Rowand
Above: Skeet Ulrich, actor, real name Brian Ray Trout
Above: Grunge Skeet Ulrich
Above: Beat-up Aaron Rowand
Skeet Ulrich wiki info: Ulrich was born Brian Ray Trout in Lynchburg, Virginia and was raised in Concord, North Carolina by his mother, Carolyn Elaine Wax (néeRudd), who owns the special-events marketing agency Sports Management Group. Ulrich's father is a restaurateur[1] and his first stepfather was former NASCAR driver and team owner D. K. Ulrich. His mother has since re-married to Edward Lewis Wax.[2][3] Ulrich's uncle isNASCAR NEXTEL Cup driver Ricky Rudd (who is his mother's brother)[4] and his maternal grandfather was Alvin Ray Rudd, Sr., the president of Al Rudd Auto Parts.[5] The nickname "Skeet" originated from the nickname "Skeeter" he was given by his Little League coach because of his small stature. Along with his slight frame he had poor health, including numerous bouts with pneumonia, and underwent open heart surgeryat the age of 10.
Ulrich graduated from Northwest Cabarrus High School, where he was a soccer standout. After initially enrolling at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington to study Marine Biology, he switched to New York University, and was subsequently noticed by playwright David Mamet.
Could they be related? Anyone else agree? Disagree?
Aaron Ryan Rowand and Brian Ray Trout (Ulrich's real name)...sounds like a couple of beer loving hillbilly boy cousins to me!

Me too...but to 'Skeet Ulrich'?
Sounds like a convulsion someone would have after contracting malaria…

look alikes
Somebody may have mentioned this around here before, but I think Jack Taschner and Aaron Rodgers could be brothers (if I could have found a good picture of Jack with a beard it would look even better). Ironic too because Rodgers grew up in Northern California and now plays in Wisconsin, while Taschner grew up in Wisconsin and now plays in Northern California.

I can see the resemblance---
Between Tash and Aaron Rodgers.
I also think I see similarity between Aaron Rodgers and Nicholas Cage as Cameron Poe in “Con Air?”

Desmond was Jesus?
I love LOST. Did you ever see actor Henry Ian Cusick (a.k.a. Desmond) in the movie “The Gospel of John”? It was really good.

Up here in Rodgers’ hometown, Chico, everybody’s like “OMG. Aaron is teh god!!!”
Also side note, Kyle Lohse is from Hamilton City 15 mins from here with a pop of 1500, generously. He has at least one younger brother(who plays football).

I don’t understand how you guys can carry on this convo but hijack what seems to be almost every thread started by people not in the loop around here. The only way to hijack this would be to start talking about baseball. That being said, this post is pretty entertaining and Aaron Rodgers/Jack Taschner is down right scary.

Now all we need is Natto to put a “Wonder” goatee on Eldard, and the circle will be complete.

Those movies are so dumb
If you’re close enough to see a meteor that large, you die crisped from the heat pulse and are almost instantly blown to ashes from the shock wave. No blinded guys, not even a greasy stain.
It’s Science.

Oh. Science.
Trust me when I say I’m not watching Deep Impacted Molars Of Armageddon for their educational content , nor do I care if they stray from realistic rendition.
It’s fiction , faChrissakes.
It’s not SUPPOSED to be real!
My son parrots this line (yet I still have to remind him , the budding 13 yr old critic):
Suspend your sense of reality for the sake of entertainment.
You enjoy more.
