Around SBN: Hugh Douglas Admits To Stealing From Jaguars

A.J. gets punched in the head. Again.

Couldn't find any video yet; just this:

Royals catcher Miguel Olivo was hit in the wrist by a pitch from D.J. Carrasco and charged the mound to start the brawl. Olivo pulled up as if he was ready to punch Carrasco, a former Royals pitcher, when White Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski grabbed him from behind. Olivo instead hit Pierzynski in the head, and by then both dugouts and bullpens had rushed the field.

Never forget.

And I do have to call Carrasco out on one of the worst thrown punches I’ve ever seen (and that included girl fights, and the usually not much better MLB brawl). I shall call his move the ‘Jumping Wristslap’

Some of me wishes that Sabathia was still in CLE, in hopes that a A.J. would attempt to charge while CC was pitching…
(and perhaps Albert Belle would be in the crowd, which would be the end of AJ)

If I was in that scuffle

The first guy my fist is looking for is AJ.

Well done Miguelito!

Only if you get it in your eye, though.

My Dave Righetti is better than your Dave Righetti.

I just baptized my monitor.

The Envy pic, by the way, is the #1 Image Search result when you google AJ Pierzynski

A few thoughts:

1) God, Pierzynski’s hair is awful
2) I get irritated at Bochy’s lack of animation sometimes, but Guillen is kind of a jackass
3) Were those Turn Back the Clock uniforms, or are the Royals really dressing like that nowadays?

It’s a beautiful day when someone decks AJ Pierzynski.
