Around SBN: NHL Trade Rumors: Do You Make A Move For Rick Nash?

At long last, the Krukow guitar

So I was headed back to the Bay area today after spending the week in Denver at the Crunchy Hippie/Al Qaeda festival.  On the plane, as many of us do, I cracked open the silly Skymall catalog to pass the time.  In the catalog, I found this:

SkyMall Travel Guitar

This seems to answer the question posed here:

Why does Krukow's guitar lack a neck?

I hope this makes all of you sleep better at night---I know it will for me.

Following the sorry example of modern starting pitchers,

the guitar maker just couldn’t be bothered to finish what he’d started.

It may be a nitpick,

but you’re talking about the headstock, not the neck.

nice spot, although the exact terminology is nothing to fret about.

Fred Lewis can stand under my umbrella.

And by the way, there are lots of guitar models with no headstock. So while it’s not the usual, it’s not completely uncommon, either.

Nice effort, but the Krukow guitar is a Steinberger.

Heh, Kruk even looks kinda like Ned Steinberger.

I love SkyMall catalogs, especially those wacky pictures of ramps for small dogs to get on couches. The picture of the dachshund on one of those is tremendous. The dog looks so awkward.

Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
