Let’s all hope Roberts doesn’t have to miss a few games /crossing fingers…
Why couldn't McCovey have hit the ball just three feet higher??
For sure this is the best game of the year

Willie Mays, you ain't kidding
MIght be too greedy to ask for both =)
Sometimes I hope the giants don’t score to get more than a 3 run lead so that WIlson could get a save… but I think a Timmy win is more important ;)
If my head is full of white hairs by the end of this season.. I blame Brian Wilson. (I'm only 22, dammit!)
I think if he finishes off the game now, he’ll get a save no matter what, since he was brought in to a save situation. Even if the Giants scored 10 runs this inning.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
(Our) Speed & (Their) Defense FTW!

tonight proves that small ball is just as good as hitting homeruns. They hit two homeruns in a row and get two runs, and then they bunt twice in a row and get two runs.

Not surprised by that baserunning play by Velez
Earlier in the year in Fresno, he was on third, Ochoa was on 1st and McClain was batting with one out. McClain drilled a fly ball that was caught on the warning track, and Ochoa was doubled off of first before Velez scored, as Eugenio was dogging it down the line. The run didn’t count (although, I’m not sure of the rule – would the run have counted if he had scored before the out at first was made?).
Velez was then benched and we never saw him again that night. He would appear to have learned from that.

Yes, Velez’ run would’ve counted had he crossed home plate before Ochoa was doubled off first.
