The K Dude needs a sub for Wednesday

Hey there McCoven.

I need someone to fill in for me and put up Ks on the brick for 8/27 against the Rockies. Normally I wouldn't even bother with a sub, but it's Lincecum Day, and Timmy needs some lovin'.  A free ticket to Section 103 may be involved but I will have to check. Anybody interested may post here or email me at earl.dukeof at gmail.com (Afraid of spambots)

Thanks!

You’re the one who puts the K’s up?

I’d sub for the K Dude if I didn’t have class. :/

Natto is the obvious choice since he does it during the gameday threads.

Speed, defense... and an almost fanatical devotion to getting picked off.

If it were a day game, I would have been able to do it. Alas, it’s a 7:15pm start time.

Farewell, Ray. We'll miss your smile and your sugar. Welcome, Steve Hammond "Eggs". Throw strikes.

The thought of Natto hanging picutes of that singer dude and Tommy Lee Jones on the wall cracks me up.

30,000+ people simultaneously saying “WTF”?

Zooperstars, they quack me up!

If I could, I’d do it.

The thought of Natto or some other regular having to explain the singer dude or Tommy Lee Jones posting is even more intriguing.

I think it would be better if no explanation was given. Just look at people as if they should know.

by chilibean_3 on Aug 26, 2008 3:20 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

The point I was getting at was that the explanation is given time and time again here in the Gameday threads when someone new has got little to no clue as to what’s going on.

Yes. You have to use paste glue, pipe cleaners, and a bunch of popsicle sticks.

Get to work!

Call it silly. Call it irrational. And I might be the only one that does this. But just have to recommend it as a way to tip my hat to the K Dude. Got to love unofficial activism.

Agree.

I must admit I thought this year it was a team-sponsored thing.

So major props to those involved. I’d do it, but I’m not allowed
outside of section 108.

Suggestion

Maybe Tyler Walker could substitute for you…he probably isn’t doing much at the game anyways.

My wife says...

I should retract what I said about Tyler…she thinks he’s kind of cute when he’s not in uniform and sweaty.

She has a thing for Rowand (other than his squat stance) and Wilson’s tats, too. Ay yi yiiiii!

Because she works at the concession stand, silly. ;-)

there’s no way Tyler would do the job right. They’d have to keep calling him back from the concession stand.
