Posey's debut!

So Buster FINALLY debuted tonight.  He singled in his first at bat, and then K'd in his second.  As of now it's only the 4th inning so he should be up again.  He's DH'ing tonight.

Here's the game log from the Arizona League game, in case you wanted to follow along. I don't really have anything to add, but this is probably important enough to put up with the FanPosts.

"I can't describe how excited I am to be a Giant." Music to the ears of this excited parent of Buster Posey!

Natto gets the credit for the work. I’ll take some credit for the idea. I just happen to think of this movie every time I hear the word Debut, even though I’ve never actually seen it.

It's rare...

very rare when I envy a guy, but in this case, I would do most anything to be standing between those 2 lovely ladies, if only…I was forty years younger.

As far as Bochy is concern, I don’t think he’s the right guy, especially moving forward with youth. After the season is over they (FO) should call it a day with Boch…s’il vous plait!

I was thinking that yesterday about Pablito after he hit a double and followed later with a DP. Hopefully more of the former with him and less of the latter.

"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.
