I actually don’t have serious complaints about this lineup. I mean, Ochoa as a #2 hitter is kind of sad, but there aren’t a lot of options there, and Molina was off yesterday, so I can’t complain about him playing all the damn time. So, yeah.
If by “off” you mean unable to produce offensively, then yes. But he did play.

And 8-23 since the all-star break, lost 12 in row, and are on the verge of their fourth straight series sweep. Their run differential is already almost as big as the worst team last year, and it’s only August.
AND
they didn’t sign their 1st round pick.
Boy, they’re sure fighting hard to make baseball work in the capitol, eh?

I was always fond of Les Expos. They screwed even worse than Matt Williams in 1994, the poor bastards.

Aren't the actual ground balls
taken at 3rd the same as at first?
proud father of the newly acquired Brandon Crawford..
So- The SD/AZ game has gone perfectly so far
1. SD is winning
2. Peavy – 1 IP, 3 ER
3. Haren – 1 IP, 4 ER

Coulnd't have drawn it up any better..
Unless Webb also gave up 4 ER somehow..
proud father of the newly acquired Brandon Crawford..
AUGH
I have both those pitchers on my fantasy team. At least Liriano didn’t give up any runs. Hopefully Cain will come through for me as well.
in a regular, run of the mill league, you have several spots for pitchers – by default, 2 SP slots, 2 RP slots, and 3 generic P slots, where you can put in relievers or starters. Any pitchers who are in those slots on a given day count – a pitcher in a bench spot doesn’t. That way you don’t get screwed if four of your starting pitchers are all throwing on the same day.
Ahhh I see
thanks for that. I just got into fantasy last year, but only football. BB seems like too much work
It can be as much work or as little as you want it to be, really. I’m a micromanager, but you don’t really have to be.
I would be though
spent WAYYY too much time on my FF team last year, and am planning the same this season.
Semi-OT: Omar
I was watching the the Angels/Rays game earlier and the announcers mentioned that the Angels were in the market for a solid defensive SS. Then, much to my surprise, they mentioned Omar as their primary candidate. I’m sure there is no actual validity to this but it was at least worth a laugh so I thought I would share.
Giants! Giants! HELP US GOD!
Well, they just lost Maicer Izturis..
yeah.. Maicer was their starting SS for a while, and yet they have one of the best records in the league.

Can we just hire Kruk and Kuip as our manager?
They really can’t be any worse than Bochy. Or Alou. Or even Dusty. And for an added bonus I think they should still announce the games and we can hear them swear and grunt when the Giants fuck up. How could that not make for good ratings?
NO
because then whenever there is a base open, we will pitch around a guy.
