Who to watch
Usually during this time of year, fans of poor teams focus on player development and on the shiny new call ups. However I think the most important thing for the remaining portion of the giants season is to determine if Zito's so called resurgence is for real or not. I know its only been three games, but if he can come close to matching his last performance, it will be much more important to the future of giants success than if Pablo or Ishi show of their talents. The last few months will play a huge role in how zito is treated in the offseason, whether he is demoted, traded, or even cut (never gonna happen but a man can dream). So whats more important the rest of the way, watching zito or pablo/ishi?

You play to win the game! PLAYOFFS?!? PLAYOFFS?!?

I agree that Zito is probably the most important part
but it doesn’t matter if we’re on “watch”, since we’re stuck with him anyway.
whom in the hell do you think you are?
Did I do that right?

I really like that band, The Whom. They sing some catchy songs.
My Dave Righetti is better than your Dave Righetti.

I love that song...
…“It is my generation about which I am talking.”
The All-Father is now...umm...a Grizzly. But he was a Giant for a while.
The populace tries to detract from us
Simply due to the fact that we are exceptionally mobile
"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.

The feats they perform seem, from visual evidence, to lack kinetic energy;
It is my wish to expire prior to becoming superannuated.

He probably likes the word WHO

The momentum is picking up for another grammar thread...
Only 850 games until the end of Zito's contract
I was interested in seeing Zito make a real run at 20 losses, but that is getting less likely. He currently has 15 and has 7 starts left, so it’s going to take a lot of sucktitude.
As far as your actual point, I’m sorry to tell you that it doesn’t matter at all how Zito does these last few weeks, there is no chance he will get demoted, traded, or cut.

Zito isn't part of the next good Giants team!
Oh, wait… DAMN!
Hector Sanchez: really getting tired of playing baseball in foreign countries...
Zito is going to be Zito, so I could really care less. If he loses everygame from here on out, it isn’t going to change anything. He will be in our rotation next year regardless. I am looking forward to seeing Pablo and Ishi play. That and where on your poll is every Lincecum and Cain start.

What no Oacha & Burriss?
Darn! Chicks realy do dig the long ball too much.
Ivan Ochoa - Heir to the legacy of Rob Andrews & Rikkert Faneyte!
How could you misspell
Ochoa when his name, correctly spelled, is in your byline?
I keep reading this post
and thinking “Jessica Beil”.
Personally, I’m looking forward to the return of “Heroes”.
Like Barry Zito, I'm mildly half-OK.
