No, my Crazy Crab bobblehead is not for sale.
There isn’t a garage, either. There’s an area for the car to park, but aside from the overhang, it’s open-air. And there’s a deck over it.
I had to really think about that, actually – I’ve only been to my parents’ current home like three times. They moved a few years ago, live 3000+ miles away, and we usually get them to visit us – the benefit of having a kid.
This sounds too accurate to be false.

Barry Zito was 85–4 when the A’s scored four or more runs.
Of course, that’s when he was.. you know.. good.

Rare stuff
The Rays intentionally walked Hamilton with the bases loaded in the 9th. Next batter struck out to end the game.
Bondsian respect.
But I support that move in certain circumstances.

I think it’s still respect – Hamilton had to hit a home run to tie the game. Next hitter only would’ve had to double.

Gameday has forsaken me
I’m stuck with Zito eternally in mid-out. Is this what purgatory is like?

well at least you aren’t suck with him on the mound!

Is it me, or is Michael Phelps some kind of idiot savant?
All he seems to do is sleep, eat and swim. And when I’ve heard him interviewed he isn’t exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer.
You don’t really need to be smrt to swim really really fast.

Well obviously. But he’s like some sort of robot. I just find it amusing. And his mom is a public school administrator in Baltimore haha.
He has been specially engineered to do nothing but swim, eat, and sleep. I’d say it’s sort of a boring existence, but I love swimming and there’s all the medals he’s won too.

5th time this season as Pitcher of the Week
The Giants win a game! The Giants win a game! The Giants win a game!
It's games like these
that make me not believe in some of these defensive ratings for OF’s.
It’s definitely a good idea to take the impressions from a single game, especially the really bad ones, and use them to formulate an overall opinion of a player’s defense.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
He does have a point though
Just from the games i’ve seen and listened to he seems to be a little overrated in the OF
The Giants win a game! The Giants win a game! The Giants win a game!
From the ones I’ve seen and listened to, he has good range and a not very good arm.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
I think his Gameryness was way underrated.
The Giants win a game! The Giants win a game! The Giants win a game!
You make it sound like this game is an aberration. There have been more than a few games where Rowand has completely misplayed balls in the outfield. Same can be said for Fred Lewis. Yet both rank at the top or near the top in defensive efficiency?
You only remember the times they screwed up. In general, they have made the plays in the zones they’re supposed to make plays in.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
I remember good plays too. Like that diving catch he made last week. But still, his defense is overrated. But than again I think that just says more about the lack of quality defensive OF’s in the game right now. Lots of the ex-stud OF’s are in rapid decline or have recently retired.
The guys who gather the data used for the play by play defensive statistics watch every play by every outfielder. Obviously, small sample size caveats apply to single season data, but his defense has generally been well above average his whole career.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
Also, we can hear the colors.
The All-Father is now...umm...a Grizzly. But he was a Giant for a while.
Gamescast on espn is showing a lot of “balls” in the strike zone. Zito getting squeezed?
Zooperstars, they quack me up!

Holy crap, you're right!
The stars aligned today. Either that or we inspired Zito with all the poop talk.
That means Bochy is definately gonna leave him in
The Giants win a game! The Giants win a game! The Giants win a game!
I think Bochy should let Zito go for the CGSO just so we can all be wrong on that thread a few weeks ago about which Giant would be the first to do so.
Zooperstars, they quack me up!
Zito better go 8
After all those times he sent Lincecum out for another one, he better send zito out again
by another one
I mean another inning after already being at 100 pitches
109 pitches aside
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gameId=280720126
It’s pretty ridiculous how he can send Lincecum out for the 7th in a game like this but can’t send zito out right now
He's usually good for 75 through 2 2/3.
The Giants win a game! The Giants win a game! The Giants win a game!
Yes magical
It turns our pitchers into a pumpkin
The Giants win a game! The Giants win a game! The Giants win a game!
