Around SBN: Jeremy Lin's Game-Winner Was Incredible, Worth Remembering

SJ Giants tonight, 6 PM

Hey, I just wanted to put something up so we can coordinate a little for tonight's game.  I was thinking we could all meet just inside the main gate, near the large chalkboard with the lineups on it (assuming they still have that) around 5:45.  I plan on just getting a General Admission ticket, for those that care I think they are $9.  Other than that, I'm not sure how many people are going.  Let me know if you have any better ideas for meeting/tickets/anything else.  Go (SJ) Giants!

What a fun night. The big meetup Tuesday should be fun too!

You should find and post that pic of all of us. All of these meetup threads need embarassing and unflattering photos!

If you can believe it, young Marcello had never heard Rush before! Or claims he hadn’t, at least. I’m just tryin ta school a brotha on the classics. :D

I’ve heard of Rush, I’m just not aware of their songs. Like, I know they exist, but that’s the extent of my knowledge.

It’s like you read my mind——that series is a major guilty pleasure for me.

So bummed I couldn’t make it.

On the plus side, I also missed most of today’s major league game!

by jcb9 on Aug 16, 2008 11:22 PM PDT reply actions

i think it should be a reg'lar event

Especially if Gillaspie and Posey make it up. It would be novel to have some actual prospects in attendance at Prospect Night.

I COULDN'T FIND YOU!

I was so bummed, stuck in an accident by my house so I got there in the second, I couldn’t find anyone and was supper depressed. Good game… I was super sad though :(. Lets do it again soon so I can actually find you.

Yes... way...

I did catch one of the victory balls after, but it was a cheap, cheap consolation prize. That double ejection was awesome though…

I think we were in section F, pretty close to the front.

That’s crappy that you missed us. Delorean asked about you. Next time we’ll exchange phone numbers so we can find each other.

Sounds good.

I was above the Giant;s dugout about 7 rows up. I think it was section E. I was really looking around the stands between every batter, hoping someone would say something McCovey-y.
