Omar Vizquel--the painter

Just got a postcard from the Caldwell Snyder gallery via the Giants Community Fund alerting us to an exhibition of Omar's recent paintings (oils and watercolors).

The show opens 9/4 (5-8pm). You can get details from the gallery's website if you're interested in seeing if Omar is a better painter than Zito is a guitarist (see also K's for Troops benefit last year).

[disclaimer] I'm not associated with the G's, the gallery, or the CommunityFund, though I do support two of them regularly [/disclaimer].

The website doesnt have a lot of details yet, but the opening will have Music, Wine, and HorsDeVours. $25.00 donation (presumably for the CFund). I think I'll risk that money I had set aside for playoff tix, and go Art shopping.
