by delorean on Aug 14, 2008 12:52 PM PDT up reply actions

How many batters will Correia face before he gets pulled?

by rightcenterfielder on Aug 14, 2008 12:52 PM PDT reply actions

Correia at 68 pitches through 5

With the lead, I agree with leaving him in.

The All-Father is now a Giant!

by EliminateMe on Aug 14, 2008 12:52 PM PDT reply actions

not to mention pulling him will surely lead to bad bullpen decisions

Correia regularly combusts at around that pitch count.

by jcb9 on Aug 14, 2008 12:53 PM PDT up reply actions

to be fair

he also combusts at pitches 1-67 and 69-115

I’m imagining him still there in a few days, desperately trying to make a double switch for the next team in town….everyone looking embarrassed and trying to pretend he’s not there…

We were just outscored by 15 runs in this series

Can we make it 20 against the Braves? I think we can!

Will be hard with one fewer game, but anything is possible with this bunch. Especially when the bullpen takes over.
