I’d have to go with buttered popcorn as worst ever.
However, the worst candy ever goes to what’s called a Dropje (pronounced dr-O-pee). It’s a Dutch candy that’s black licorice flavored and is very salty. Some of the nastiest crap you’ll ever eat.
That being said, these are the greatest thing known to man, courtesy of the Dutch.

has some pretty good cameos, and robert downey jr. did his thing… the best thing i can say is jack black didn’t jackblackify this movie into terribleness. all in all i did laugh out loud more than any other movie i saw at the theater this year.

Premature Posey-ing?
As John Shea writes in tomorrow’s paper, the Giants are hopeful they can sign first-round draft pick Buster Posey by tomorrow’s 9 p.m. PDT deadline.
However — as much as I hate to contradict my friend and colleague Andrew Baggarly at the Merc — two major-league sources have told me today it is categorically untrue that a) a deal with Posey was done, either verbally or on paper, and b) the Giants were prepared to give Posey $7.5 million.
At least that was the case as of late this afternoon.
If I get more info tonight, I’ll update the blog.
