Giants sign Kieschnick and Juan Carlos Perez
Andrew Baggerly is reporting that the Giants just signed Kieschnick, the OF from Texas Tech who they picked in the 3rd round.
It looks like our resident Facebook stalker was right.
UPDATE: thanks to the eagle eyes of sectionop92 who pointed out that it appears the Giants have also signed Juan Carlos Perez

The Giants website lists that Juan Carlos Perez also signed today as well, but you have to look at the “signed” list to see it.

wow, it certainly does. Don’t the Giants know that we think that is worthy of a major announcement?

Maybe this is a conspiracy with a certain newspaper to get us to read the transaction wire tomorrow.
Conspiracy Fail!
Or more likely, they’d have to pay someone to write-up a statement of 140-200 words and they saved themselves $75 because it wasn’t one of the Fantastic Four.

w00t wins!
By the way, funny that w00t didn’t show up in Merriam Webster’s website, considering this.
And finally, a little history lesson.
