San Francisco Giants @ Houston Astros

Football season is around the corner, and Niners Nation is going strong. Some of the regulars here moonlight as regulars there. If you can't get enough HowTheyScored, here's your chance. If you absolutely can get enough HowTheyScored...he, uh, doesn't post there.

The analysis is great, and so is the community. Go and register as a Niners Nation user today!

Also, if one or both of your parents did not love you, it's possible that you are a Raiders fan. In that case, please note that there is a support group at Silver and Black Pride.

Niners Nation? Is that some sort of 49ers website?

My Dave Righetti is better than your Dave Righetti.

I was going to post there, but if howtheyscored doesn’t know about it, it’s probably not worth it.

Trent Kline: Decentish. Also, my website is called ChatterBalks Dot Com and on it I make jokes about things.

Defect is the defining word of the York organization

The Niners are hopeless. The Giants at least have a prayer on any given night.

(Tonight not really being one of those nights.)

Numbers according the the official site:

Ishikawa #5
Sandoval #48
Rohlinger #57

Now 5 catchers on the 40-man, how long does that last?

I honestly cannot stand him anymore. He can’t hit, he can’t get on base, he grounds in to a ton of double plays and CAN HE PLEASE LEARN TO BLOCK A DAMN BALL? He should be thanking the official scorer for all those “wild pitches” they score.

I dont understand everyone’s excitement over Rohlinger. He hit .235 last year in low A. He hit good this year but I’d rather see him sustain this hitting in Triple A. Shoot me, but I kinda wanna see McClain. I know he’s old but I always feel bad for that guy.

Fred Lewis hitting fifth? THIS IS MADNESS

"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.

But I’d go farther and say that Umpire Wolf shouldn’t be employed at all as an MLB umpire.

Would think MLB would not have him ump any game his brother is associated with. Possibly a move to AL would be good.
