So

Talked to my landlord earlier – who’s a great guy, but our asshat downstairs neighbors were writing him indignant emails because our 2-year old son woke up and fussed a few times last night, which to them translates into us keeping them up all night.

They’ve pretty much been complaining about our “noise” since they moved in several months ago, despite the fact that we’re about as quiet as people with a toddler, a dog, and hardwood floors can possibly be.

So! Ideas for how to torment them so that they wish to death without commiting any felonies or doing anything evict-able?

We’ve spoken, but not for a while. That’s what our landlord is apparently going to have us do, though it’s about the last thing in the world I want to do.

More fun stories: a few months ago, I was putting together a bookshelf at about 4:30 in the afternoon. I had been hammering nails into the back for approximately three minutes when he started screaming, “SHUT THE FUCK UP!” from downstairs. Good times, good times.

Sanchez did his job tonight,

and that alleviated any concerns that he was spent for the season. The kid is fine.

But the batting order sucks, and this isn’t a major league offense. There are several players in this lineup who aren’t ready for full time duty at this level, and it shows. It’s great to get guys like Burris, Ochoa, and even Bowker some ABs, but these guys should be spending next year at Fresno. Castillo of course should be gone, and the team needs a whole infield.

Meet my three little friends: Timmy, Dirty, and Cain
