Completely inexcusable. The guy’s visibly gassed and in the middle of the order throwing what I think are his most pitches all season.

The core issue is that Cain was left in, though. Any hitter would have teed off of Cain in that AB, and the result would have been worse because there would have been one more runner on base.

Bullshit. Pierre got out quickly. Kemp hit a check swing double that hit the line. Than Ethier was up (should have been walked). It got worse from there.
Cain got behind in the count early to almost every batter he faced in the inning. He was making BAD location mistakes the whole time, and made his worst as the inning went on. He was gassed, and visibly so.

He was the next Mike Benjamin anyway. What really pissed me off was how poorly our training staff botched Lowry’s injuries. He has been hurt since 2006 and they wait a whole 2 years to finally do anything about it. Absolutely inexcusable and ridiculous.
Although this makes me wonder if they’ll put Bocock on the 60 day DL to free up roster space if they need it.

Bowker and Castillo completely blew a none out first and third (Bowker needs to go down, and I’m not making a sexual reference) and they should have scored at least one more run there. Castillo’s shitty hitting all year is a running joke yet he still trots out there—there was a fucking reason he was waived, you know.

Actually, every time I’ve heard JT he’s been audibly better. He’s still not good yet, but today was by far the best I’ve heard him.

The random pauses are awful, but he is doing them less often. He’s starting to work on his inflection, too. He’s not nearly as monotone as he used to be (which is saying a lot since he’s still pretty monotone).
I’m happy to let him keep going as long as he keeps improving incrementally. Even if that means he’s this awful for a while.

Some side notes:
- Lou Seal’s B-Day today. All the Bay Area mascots with our minor league mascots came out to celebrate. Crazy Crab brought out the cake and fell on it. Hence the rest of the mascots started throwing shit on him.
- Manny getting plunked was pretty loud from where I was sitting. Must be empty underneath all those dreds.
- WTF Bochy! You big headed f%ck! Stop leaving in Cain for 120+ f’in pitches!
- Castillo sucks donkey balls and Bowker needs to learn some plate discipline.
