But that was a ball to Martin?
fuck you blue
I think Marichal threw over 200 (maybe over 300?) in that epic 16 inning game against Spahn. I dont’ know if that’s the most ever.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
I am curious...
As to what changed in the game that no longer allows pitchers to throw that much.
I've heard
that the change in height of the mound has made it more taxing on the arm.

Long Day
Nothing good can come of an inning that starts by giving up a hit to Lowe.
Double steal?

Wow
That was awesome.

Speed at third, speed at first
sack of potatoes at the plate
It's not a trick
When you have speed on the bases, it’s part of your arsenal
we used to d o that on my little league team
if the Colombia Miners can figure out to just let em take second, a big league team should be able to as well.
you can't block the Bocock
Clowns guided the Mayflower
to Plymouth Rock instead of warmer Virginia
It does seem like on close pitches, he’s pretty much flipping a coin in his mind.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
Horrifying
my quarter says “made in China” under Washington’s ponytail
Well
We gotta borrow it from someone.

“I have been known to live with a pregnant woman.”
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
That quick inning was a stunner.
Very important turnaround for Sanchez.
Keeps the mojo going in his breakout season
How about another long rest for Guapo?
This last one worked well
Still far south of Mendoza
only stirring IN the ashes
I don’t know if it’d be a good idea for me to go see Fred Lewis at the Dugout store tomorrow. I might hug him and never let go.
He often walks around
with a fan embracing his leg
Runs = flabbergasted
Maybe it’s just me, the stats may not bear this out. But it seems like we NEVER hit against LA at home.

I go away for a few minutes
Omar gets a hit, and steals a base.
And Freddie!

Did I name my Rock Band band after Freddie? Yes, yes I did. Was it the right move? Of course it was.
Sounds fine
but giving Dodgers slow torture is at times more satisfying
Freddie
Seriously, when was the last time we were this jazzed about a homegrown position player?

Cough, cough
Young Pedro Feliz. At least I, a foolish high schooler at the time, was excited. Cough.
Question Revision
When was the last time we were this jazzed about a homegrown position player after said player spent significant time in the majors?

I don’t think I’ll be putting Andruw Jones back in my fantasy lineup any time soon. And this is coming from a guy who’s starting Cody Ross and Scott Hairston.
At first I read "Cody Ransom"
but then I realized I was wrong. Of course, Ransom might be a better choice than Jones
didn’t you have Andruw last year too? Poor Grant.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
I'm actually a fan of picking Dodgers....
Win/lose, or lose/win. It makes my highs low and my lows high.
Of course, nothing compares to having Cain/Lincecum/Sanchez in an NL-only league. Somehow I’m leading the league in Ks.

Larry
pretty good stuff from the old guy…even a Dodger fan
Sometimes I'm jealous of you guys watching the game
But, missing Larry King is worth a good ol’ Gameday.

hey what was the answer to the aflac question? “pitcher w/most wins vs dodgerS”
If my head is full of white hairs by the end of this season.. I blame Brian Wilson. (I'm only 22, dammit!)
Marichal the easy answer, but
Technically, might be Gaylord Perry, who pitched for the Giants and Padres

And finally he has taketh away
How about another 3-run homer from Aurilia today?
I think that’s a good plan.
Trent Kline: Decentish. Also, my website is called ChatterBalks Dot Com and on it I make jokes about things.
maybe it’ll be a PH 3 run jack from Castillol
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
