Tim Lincecum Shirts
I was browsing zazzle.com and looking for some Tim "the Freak" Lincecum shirts and I saw these
What do you guys think? I'm thinking of plunking down $25 and buying one of these to wear to the next Lincecum start. Are there any other Lincecum shirts out there to purchase? Anything that's cheaper then this, like maybe on ebay or some other shopping site?

I think it would be a great poster
Photos never make very good Tshirts. They don’t age well, as the photos degenerate, but beyond that…it’s just kind of strange looking.

Yeah
I was about to say this. Photos look weird on t-shirts. As for other Lincecum shirts,BAM!

I concur
Any lazy ass can steal a photo and slap it on everything from oven-mitts to T-shirts. I mean just look at this lame attempt (apologies if the “designer” of this one is amongst us)... http://www.zazzle.com/tim_timmynator_lincecum_shirt-235279367193743643
I’m bout to give Natto a bit of my hard earned moolah…even if it is just a small percentage through Zazzle.
For other kick-ass Giants gear, I strongly suggest the following…and no…I’m not making a dime off this guys/gals stuff…I’m just a frequent customer.

They sell the black shirts with the GIANTS lettering on the front and the names and numbers of players on the back at the Dugout store. I’m wearing my Tim shirt today. :)

When will they sell these online? I’m on the east coast and can’t make it to the park. I’m tired of the cruddy “custom” variations with the ironed-on white letters/numbers that are available via the web.

I dunno! I was pretty annoyed at the Dugout store today. I wanted to buy myself a Sanchez shirt. They don’t make Sanchez shirts in women’s sizes, which is weird because Jonathan is popular with the ladies, and all the omg hottiez!!!2 have shirts in the women’s sizes; Lowry, Frandsen et al. Hey even Tim has girl’s shirts now. So I went over to the men’s section because I can wear a small (my Tim shirt is a small men’s, for example) and they only had Medium for Sanchez. Balls.
In the men’s shirts, I saw that they had Eugenio Velez (wtf) and no Fred Lewis. None! They have John Bowker, but no Fred. I like Bowker and I picked one up for a friend, but come on. I still like Velez, but come on. Fred Lewis doesn’t have a damn shirt for me to wear? The guy who’s been a surprise and exciting and fun for Giants fans all year doesn’t get a shirt?
I did get a shirt that says DAD and has the number 1. I got it for my dad (omg rly?) because I think he’ll like it a lot.

i think it’s ugly.. for a shirt. the back looks fine, the front looks tacky since it just looks like you stuck a photograph on your chest. maybe if it just showed lincecum throwing, instead of the baseball diamond and grass in the background
If my head is full of white hairs by the end of this season.. I blame Brian Wilson. (I'm only 22, dammit!)

The Freak
Apparently once you make it to the bigs, your nickname gets shortened. At the University of Washington, Tim was known as The Freak of Nature. Now that he’s in the bigs, it’s just The Freak.

Yeah. Remember in spring training when I called out that green jerky dude saying he was a fake Giant fan and was just attempting to make a sale?? He denied it strongly. Have we seen him since??

We saw him pretty regularly for a while, and he even made a number of fairly relevant comments that had nothing to do with jerkey.
He also called into KNBR a buncha times, and even though the hosts always talked about the jerkey, he seemed to be a genuine Giants fan. I had nothing wrong with him. He plugged a little hard, but he took care to be a fan with the rest of us.
I thought about this being a plug, too, and it’s still a possibility, but Hella Bay Area has a few posts around, and has been kind of active in a few minor lines threads. If it was a straight plug, I’d think that he wouldn’t have invested the last few months of reading and occasionally commenting to get to it, so I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt.
