Happy Meh Day
So consider this a place to vent about this slacker's total lack of focus, or whatever else. I'm off to the ballpark to do the wave...

MEH is the latter half of one of his nicknames, Timmeh.

How do you vote when you don’t know what the answers mean?
If my head is full of white hairs by the end of this season.. I blame Brian Wilson. (I'm only 22, dammit!)

Meh=noncommital response, a sound and not quite a word
Meh-est=the epitome of meh
Rays=good

EXCEPT when referring to Durham, Sanchez (albeit different spelling), or Parker Jr. after he left ‘Heatwave’.

And again for the heaping helping of insight with regard to my “Meh” designation (above)

MEH = good
I have $100 riding on a bet with a sucker who thinks the Yankees are going to finish higher than the Rays. Yay for me.

Little OT
One hell of a MEH-EST day for me.
I had to go to Performance Bike to get some tubes for my bike. After, I went to Safeway across the ballpark to grab some lunch. Got some food and was ready to check out. But guess who is waiting in line in front of me? Brian Sabean, I can tell what he looks like by Josh from Hollywood’s pics.
I say, “Hey Mr. Sabean!” (DIdn’t want to be rude and just call him Sabes) My God, I swear he had like he jumped a few inches off the floor.
He turned around and said, “How you doin’?”
I said, “Congrats to you and your scouting team on the draft.”
He says, “Thanks a lot.”
As soon as finished paying for some OJ, he bolted. I wasn’t trying to be sarcastic, confrontational or anything. I mean I wasn’t wearing my Lunatic Fringe shirt a carrying a firearm over my shoulder or something.
That was a strange encounter. What would have you guys said to him in a public place like that?

Today is so slow at work, almost everyone took off early for the long weekend. I carpool and will actually be here late since the guy I carpool with has a late afternoon department meeting. Meh. (Here Meh != Good)

He probably ran off because he had just realized that if he can sign Posey he may be able to trade him for Pierzynski and get some more veteran savvy at a position that we need help at.

probably nothing
used to work over there and would see players in that general vicinity (Richie and family on several occasions—that fucker is alot bigger than you might expect!) and I never said anything to em. Not my style, I guess. I definitely wouldn’t have said anything to Sabes, as I would not trust myself to keep a civil tongue in my head.
PS: what do you ride?

Wait wait wait. Did he say “How you doin?” or “How you doin?” Because if it was the latter, then you totally misread the signs.

More like, “How ya doin’”
If it was, “How you doin?” I would be inclined to bolt myself.
