I forgot Vizquel was a Mariner. Him for Felix Fermin and Reggie Jefferson = one of the worst trades ever that never gets mentioned in discussions of the worst trades.

Yankees designated RHP LaTroy Hawkins for assignment.
That the Yankees thought Hawkins would be a useful reliever in the AL East was a big error in judgment, albeit one with relatively few consequences. They didn’t have to use him in many close games with other relievers stepping up, and the $3.75 million they spent on him was merely a drop in the bucket. Hawkins could go back to the NL and reemerge as a useful sixth or seventh inning guy.
Adopted Giant Brian Wilson: One of the few reasons to watch this year.
