ned trades a couple of maybe decent prospects for a 34 year old "gamer" infielder

operation Blue Crush continues… although Blake has been quite good this year and could help the Dodgers win the division I suppose. Still if they were to make the playoffs, I really doubt they would advance far against the Mets/Phillies/Brewers/Cubs. Any one of those teams should be able to handle LA in a short series, but especially the two NL Central clubs, I’d think.

if it were any team but the Dodgers, I think we probably could at this point. But I think the rivalry being what it is, Dodgers ownership would probably be reluctant to send a prospect like LaRoche to the Gigantes.
