Happy Birthday Barry!
Happy birthday Barry Bonds! You are now kind of old but that is okay because we still love you. It also happens to be my cats birthday, too. He is five years old and if you had his personality you would be the most popular baseball player ever. But you are not a cat, you are you and that is just fine. Flaws and all, you were the best I have ever seen.
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday dear Baaaaarry (even though all those colluding motherfucking asshole owners are trying to ruin your year by being complete chickenshit dickholes)
Happy biiiiiiiiiiiiiiirthday to you!

These all made me sad. :(

When I go to the ballpark now I just get sad thinking about how Renel used to announce his name, Atomic Dog blaring when he hit homers, flashbulbs going off every at bat, the banners, the signs, everything. If I’m a bad person for missing Barry then I’m a bad person.

I’d love to see Barry play a season in Yankee Stadium. All of those singles off of the top of the Mays Wall here would be Homers there. At 44 he would still hit 50HR! Then all of the Babe Ruth loving Barry Haters would just have to STFU!!!
Happy Birthday Barry!!!!!

Here's to you Barry -
- let it be known that you’ve still got plenty of die-hard fans. Screw the news media and the government and all that bullshit. We still think you’re awesome.

Happy Birthday to probably the second best player I have seen. Not to resurrect an old argument, but the Say Hey Kid was the best I saw and is the best living player – no doubt.

I imagine this being sung Norma Jean style by a scantily clad positiveuphemism.

He’s Joe Young in some other video game.
Always struck me as sorta racist.

He’s Joe Young in the MLB 2K games because it’s Joe Montana and Steve Young blended into one.

IIRC, against RHP he had 100 Contact and 100 Power. That was awesome.
..so allow me to present Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain as two sweet, sweet bottles of warming hooch.

He was Jon Dowd in the MVP Baseball series.
Trent Kline: Decentish. Also, my website is called ChatterBalks Dot Com and on it I make jokes about things.

I was able to edit him in MLB 2004 and they had Barry’s face, so I was able to actually put him in the game. Kuip even said “Barry Bonds”. Too bad they changed it for 2005.

Traded
Niekro for Helton (I guess Colo wanted to shed some payroll and apparently mlb 06 thinks he’s the next big thing) and Finley is hitting over .500 for some reason, and with So its stocker, alou, helton, and finley (playing catcher bc Winn leads the league in hits). We’re 50-3 on regular mode. I cry to think what barry, alou would have done if they were actually healthy at the same time. . .
sigh. . .
