This is actually really funny. My dear friend who was raised on cricket still refers to baseball stuff in cricket terms. She calls the bullpen the pitch. It does make sense because the bowler delivers in the pitch, as does the pitcher in the bullpen when he’s warming up.

Went to the game tonight
and all I have to say is: Emmanuel Burriss, bitches! That was a sweet defensive play. Got a standing ovation from the crowd.
