Bochy told him today that his playing time will decrease.

And this time he really really means it.

Although note the qualifier of this starting a week from now. What’s a week from now? Oh yeah – trading deadline.

Vizquel can totally increase his trade value right now. A couple singles. A few bunts. I can’t think of a team in the league that doesn’t need a singles/bunt guy!

Seriously, can anyone imagine the Giants receiving anything even remotely similar to a valuable player in exchange for Omar? I’m thinking we get something along the lines of this guy—if we’re lucky and Sabean finds some of his long lost mojo.

That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more!

I do. See, this is how little value I think Omar has, and how little faith I have in Sabean. I’m actually just hoping he can somehow pull off a trade within our own farm system.

No, I was just giving someone from our own org’n as an example of the type of guy we’d probably get for Omar (if we’re lucky).

That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more!

they tried to bring Bumgarner out for the 8th. He walked a guy, then gave up a single, a passed ball advanced the runners and then a single scores a guy. A reliever came in and threw a wild pitch to score the other guy so his final line is 7+, 5 hits, 2ER, 2BB, 6K + a ND. His ERA goes up to 1.85

GREAT. I raised over $500. My leg held up perfectly. We walked the whole thing straight through, never stopping once. We finished in just over two hours. We totally kicked ass.

The aftermath is sort of shitty. I walked with one of my best friends, and we talked about life in general the whole time. Mostly our parents/grandparents getting older and having to deal with that. Turns out her mother just was admitted to the ICU at UCSF and I need to take my grandmother to the hospital tomorrow morning at the behest of her GP, because she’s not doing so well either.

What's that? A hypo you say?

Well, technically if you’re talking about the Giants as a franchise, the most appropriate starting point for the discussion is what kind of entity they are and whether said entity has standing to sue. Since Zito’s K was with the Giants, under tort law, he would owe a duty to foreseeable P’s, drawing from the majority opinion of Palsgraf. .

First, they are prob a corp, which is considered a person under the law, however, it is a fictitious entity, so the discussion would probably end with how could a fictitious entity even claim or prove damages under tort, so tort is out.

Now, if we went on to contract. . .

Ok, I’m going to stop and get back to studying for real property. I have f#$x%x*# problems. . .

Rating all-time SF Giants "Z" pitchers...

1. Chad Zerbe
2. Dom Zanni
3. Barry Zito

I do think Zito could still pass Zanni with a good start or two…

It’s tough to tell considering who we are playing.

Something to be concerned about...

Most of Zito’s fastballs are coming in at 84 mph.

so much for increased velocity…

How’s the movement though?

Less arm, more talk. Raisingcain is a GAMER.

Too early to tell...

but so far it’s the not eye-searingly awful Zito.

Is the answer Luis Ayala?

Nah, he was signed right before the first Nationals season.

The Giants offense is bad but at least they don’t have Ronnie Belliard playing first base.

Only 875 games until the end of Zito's contract
