There's an extra seat on my couch, but I sold it to a Cubs fan. Now he's heckling me. I regret my decision.

Just wanted to say how glad I am that we called up Notgardo and quickly played him to give Molina a break, but Manny still sits every day.
Mistakes were made.

So, not long ago, I was wondering what we could do about first base via trade or free agency for 2009. But the last few weeks, I’m believing more and more that Bowker may be the answer. Thoughts?

That was actually a pretty okay game. I wish it had ended differently but I was expecting them to completely shrivel up and die after going down 3-0, so the comeback was a pleasant surprise. And I thought our fans did a nice job of drowning out the Cubs fans for most of the game.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
So I was in the car listening to the midnight replay. Ray Durham just hit a 3 run homerun to tie the game, and then I got home. I assume that the game just ended there and that the Giants were awarded the win for gamerism. I can’t see how anything else could have possibly taken place.
