holyfuckingshit there’s a baseball game tonight arrrrrrrrgh yes f u all star break wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Billy Hayes: His job is better than yours.
I wonder...
... what would be the ramifications of playing the 2009 ASG during right at the end of 2010 Spring Training…
and so on…
I have to admit
my life has been a little less stressful the past few days without giants baseball, but it has also felt a little empty.
Giants! Giants! HELP US GOD!
I miss the days when sfgiants.com was its own website, not a subset of mlb.com. And knbr.com streamed Giants games for free.
Srsly
they still let the NFL games by, at least they did last year. I don’t know how that works, because they’re not supposed to.
me too!
I miss the webcam the Giants used to have.
The fact that the dodgers website was soooo low tech was great fun also. Looked like it had been cobbled together by a couple of 13 year olds [no offense to any 13 year olds out there]
What could possibly be better to counteract a home-field disadvantage than an anti-mascot??!?

Billy Hayes: His job is better than yours.
1 full week without the Giants on TV...
...for me. I don’t get NBC11 here in the Central Valley. And tomorrow’s game isn’t on tv at all. No baseball for a week= SUCK
Nope
not according to the schedule I have. They are doing this several times this year, not showing friday or saturday games…
That sucks
but I know how you feel, I don’t get CSN so I miss 99% of the game
Giants! Giants! HELP US GOD!
I’m with you. I live in Capitola & can’t see it either. It was my one saving grace tonight (that and beer of course) after a rough freaking week. I even pay for stupid Extra Innings but it’s blacked out. Ridiculous.

Is Burriss at SS?
He should be, since he can really only hit lefties.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
Lineup
F. Lewis lf
I. Ochoa 2b
R. Winn rf
B. Molina c
A. Rowand cf
J. Castillo 3b
J. Bowker 1b
O. Vizquel ss
M. Cain p
ochoa batting 2nd?
i mean…i guess i shouldn’t be too upset.
i was going to ask what about Ochoa suggests he’s capable of hitting there.
And then i glanced downthe lineup and thought “well, what the hell have THEY proven to bat second??”

If Lincecum was a real gamer he would have given it to Castillo and Vizquel.
It's my blarg! Quick Pitch
No talking about trading Matt Cain, Raj. No.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
it would be cruel to inflict his suck on another team
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
don't see that happening, with Cain pitching.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
No clue, I don't recognize him.
Dave something? Darren?
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
he can play 3rd best, is that close enough?

If Richie can play through a kidney stone, he can laugh in the face of the flu.
It's my blarg! Quick Pitch
NL West Standings are pathetic...
I think Selig needs to send a memo to every team before each game, reminding them “this one counts.”
NL West TempestTeapot
The division will receive a gold – plated mini Oreck vacuum cleaner at season’s end and just as the winning Stanley Cup teammates do it will be handed from team to team during the offseason.

they should be forced to play the PCL champion
as a play-in game into the mLB playoffs…

why no manny?
i guess ochoa is a start, but i really want to watch manny get at least 1/2 the abs
proud father of the newly acquired Brandon Crawford..
Bochy's decided to give him the Denker treatment, now that Denker is gone
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
WHAT THE HELL????
This game is in SAN FRANEFFINGCISCO, yet mlb.tv has the brewers’ terrible announcers. FUCK.
I’m considering going to the spanish feed, just so I don’t have to listen to him. He has such a downer voice. And he annoys.
It's my blarg! Quick Pitch
i
He’s not Joe Buck/Tim McCarver bad, or even Joe Angel bad, but he always seems so disinterested in the Giants.
great start
weeks aint good, but i like the start
proud father of the newly acquired Brandon Crawford..
Dear Rickie Weeks,
You’re no Ray Durham. Do not be surprised when he takes your job in about a week.
Giants! Giants! HELP US GOD!
STFD HARDY
ugh that pitch was just begging to be tagged.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
ugh, it’s the really bad version of Cain tonight. Shit.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
Matt, I don't think you get it
you’re supposed to throw more pitches, and let at least 1 guy on base. You didn’t even throw a walk!
USKSOBAD
for anyone watching the brewers feed on mlb.com or extra innings pkg.
is it just me or is NOTHING in sharp focus at all?
it’s f@#$ing driving me nuts!
anyone see Batman today?? One word review. WOW

I would never spoil a movie for anyone. Some girl told me the end of I am Legend. I wanted to kill her. The movie is great though
Brian Sabean's new dad: Firm believer in corporal punishment
Flew did not look comfortable in that AB
but still managed to get on base, GAMER!
Giants! Giants! HELP US GOD!
hmm
was that castillo? still think manny should be starting today, esp vs a lefty
proud father of the newly acquired Brandon Crawford..
scatalogically speaking
Castillo alway hits like “number two”

Burriss should be starting for Vizquel, not Ochoa
Brian Sabean's new dad: Firm believer in corporal punishment
Burriss should be starting somewhere, I don’t care where
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
i wonder
if the vets told him to GiDP so hed fit in?
proud father of the newly acquired Brandon Crawford..
I don't think we are going to get a lot of hits tonight...
I mean, less than normal
Giants! Giants! HELP US GOD!
a) I respect Omar because he’s had an amazing career and
b) he seems like a player who’ll only retire when someone rips his jersey off him.
.
.
.
c) somebody rip that damn jersey off him.

throw one of the offspeed pitches for a strike
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
yikes
i’d hate to see what the main course looked like after he finished his salad.
by ExcuseMeSwing on Jul 18, 2008 7:33 PM PDT up reply actions
these brewer idiot announcers don’t seem to know that the east coast games were played already. Talking about the Mets going for 11 in a row tonight.
Brian Sabean's new dad: Firm believer in corporal punishment
Is this gun hot? It’s showing Cain at 96-97
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
i think it's been hot for weeks
Zito was touching 90-91 in his last starter. Wilson’s consistently been hitting 100 ( i mean, some nights he’ll hit it 2-3 times in an at-bat).
It’s borderline ridiculous.

nice
AND they made Fielder run on the play. Tire that motherfucker out!

Well, that inning wasn’t quite as bad as the first.
Still pretty bad.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
Yeah, it makes a lot of sense to advertise Crazy Crab bobblehead night during the actual game.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
Q: Is it wrong for me to think it looks like he tucked his left arm into his shirt?
A: Yes, of course it is, jackass.
If we weren’t listening to a fluff interview, we would know that CC got a hit.
It's my blarg! Quick Pitch
I've mentioned this before
But wen I was nine, I was in attendance at Dravecky’s comeback game. It was pretty incredible. Still the best game I’ve seen in person. And so sad a few days later in Montreal when he collapsed.
That's at least 2 losses that are directly attributable to the umps
Also: that will be an error to Bowk, making him look like a worse fielder. F the umps.
brewer's announcer proud that he used the word "inordinate"
even though he pronounced it “inordinant”
fucking tool
I was just about to say I kind of like these Brewers announcers.
Speed, defense... and an almost fanatical devotion to getting picked off.
Case in point:
the brewers announcers keep saying the inning should be over b/c of that blown call. Most homer announcers would just brush it aside.
They seem pretty well prepared too.
Speed, defense... and an almost fanatical devotion to getting picked off.
Followed by:
What was he almost maybe not quite swinging at?
Bowker against a lefty, Vizquel and Cain. It would have been surprising if Sabathia DIDN’T strike out the side
Brian Sabean's new dad: Firm believer in corporal punishment
wow, they just showed the rope that he hit in Milwaukee...
quit throwing him fastballs!!

Barry Zito: so-so command of the changeball
I think that but for a first inning bobble
C.C’s throwing a No-No.
I get the feeling we’re not going to come back in this game.
Also, I was eating dinner so I couldn’t bitch here but both of those runs should not have happened. UMPIRES >:(
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
He was safe
And Rowand sucked balls on that play
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
throw beat the runner
Castillo didn’t apply the tag in time
Billy Hayes: His job is better than yours.
even the brewers announcers are saying they're getting every call
Brian Sabean's new dad: Firm believer in corporal punishment
I would turn this off and play video games but my ps2 died for reals yesterday :(
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
Rowand = Gamer Retard
And Castillo fell over backward
No highlights in that sequence people
Even Omar’s throw bad
San Francisco is on Sportscenter’s Title Town. Maybe I’m misinterpreting this gimmick, but when a city’s baseball team in one of the biggest TitleFAIL teams in sports, I’m not sure it’s deserving.
unless it's San Francisco and not bay area. in which case, never mind.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
Palo Alto High has two state championships in hoops in the last 16 years.
Title Town!
Speed, defense... and an almost fanatical devotion to getting picked off.
Who volunteers to start the "Matt Cain is overrated" thread tomorrow??
Brian Sabean's new dad: Firm believer in corporal punishment
Russell Branyan 11 HR 19 RBI. How does one do that??

THAT WAS SOME OF THE WORST PITCHING BY CAIN I’VE EVER SEEN
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
whoa, Bowker got an error for that blown call play? Rough.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
Don't say that or you will hurt his feelings
Speed, defense... and an almost fanatical devotion to getting picked off.
BUT RAJ TOLD ME THAT THEY’RE CONFIDENT AND LOOSE.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
Bleh
If I had anything else to do I’d turn off this game
