Only because it’s televised all the time, I’d say Boston-Yankees. I grew up in Massachusetts watching it, so I don’t really know our rivalry (Giants-Dodgers) that well except playing in it. I don’t even think it’s a rivalry anymore. I think it’s just grown into one.

...what?

Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.

Boooooo!!!

yeah, well, the whole world stinks, francine -- so get used to it!

But… uh… wait, so there’s no… but it’s grown into… I… what in the…?

Brian Wilson just singlehandedly brought down a Borg Cube.

East-coast bias.

..so allow me to present Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain as two sweet, sweet bottles of warming hooch.

Fuck. Wrong reply button.

TB: Then maybe what’s one thing people need to talk more about?

BW: In baseball, one thing people need to start talking about more in baseball… need to start talking more about Christ.

...

I agree. That Christ guy can seriously hit, and he gets basically no coverage in either local or national media.

He’s a weird, intense guy, okay? Deal with it.

I can’t hate on anyone who describes the Beach Boys as “one of the sickest bands ever formed.”

Eagerly awaiting Crazy Crab Bobblehead Night on 7/18.

Can’t argue with that.

BW: And I could be the only person in baseball with an IQ of over 150. We’ll see, though. We could take an aptitude test or something.

TB: OK. There’s some pretty smart guys in baseball.

BW: I’m sure there are. Can they do the USA (Today) crossword in less than a minute? I don’t think so.

Sounds like a dick.

..so allow me to present Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain as two sweet, sweet bottles of warming hooch.

Yeah, I really don’t think Brian Wilson has an IQ over 150.

You should probably take into account that this is directly after he claims he can levitate.

Trent Kline: Decentish. Also, my website is called ChatterBalks Dot Com and on it I make jokes about things.

Well, crosswords are essentially a developed skill and not a sign of intelligence.

By the same token, aptitude testing is largely a developed skill and not a sign of intelligence.

So he could be right.

I can’t decide if it’s for real, or he’s just messing with the interviewer.

Brian Wilson is actually a Sacha Baron Cohen character.

Well….I still think his tattoo is cool.

I'm calling shenanigans
TB: In that case, I have to ask you about the tattoo (you can kind of see it here, but it’s got a big blue dragon and a lot of brilliant colors). How long did it take?

BW: 24 hours. Three sittings. Yeah.

First, very few people can sit for 8 hours. Wilson may be one of them, because he is an intense and weird dude, and loves Jesus. But NO half-sleeve in the history of the world should take 24 hours, Hell, my entire backpiece took less than 10. Either he’s exaggerating, or his tattoo artist is lame.

But I do totally believe that he can levitate.

Billy Hayes: His job is better than yours.

Don’t you see? JESUS gave him the power to sit in a chair with tiny needles poking into his skin and not have his ass go numb. That’s the true power of the Lord.

Plus I’m sort of ambivalent about getting a tattoo myself. On one hand, I’ve wanted a few for about four years now. On the other, I’m not sure if I can just sit there for a few hours and not lose my mind from boredom while the artist does his/her thing.

Might just stick to piercings. I got my last one done in like 15 minutes.

WTF?!?

He professes his love for Owen over Rooney, then claims that with a few tweaks some team is better than the Brazilians. Dude?!? Come on now. Step back into reality.
