Post-Game Fun Chatter!

Once again, the limp offense of the Giants ruins a perfectly good Saturday. I'm not sure what's more depressing, the fact...

...wait, they're still playing?

...what in the hell....

Harden pitches lights out and leaves up 7-0. Correia didn’t show up today and leaves losing 7-0.

For those who haven’t noticed, we have Velez playing left and Burris playing right. We have no pinch hitters left on the bench, and only one reliever (Hinshaw.) Things may get even more interesting.

Yeah he did pretty well. I caught the “highlights” on the 10 O’Clock News just now.

"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.

Yeah it wasn't a good inning for him

But a hit to the pitcher is really just a fluke

Eugeniooooooo!!!!

by FairweatherFan on Jul 12, 2008 2:03 PM PDT up reply actions

That is another issue

But you can’t blame Wilson for the hit by the pitcher. What you want him to do is throw strikes, and he did. Marshall stuck his bat out there and got a hit – it happens. The walk is much worse.

“Cubs clip Blue Jays with walk-off hit in 11th inning”

Even they can’t believe the Giants scored seven runs in a game, including five in the 9th. It HAD to have been the Blue Jays!

That we don’t even exist? The team named the “Giants” doesn’t exist. There are only teams east of the Mississippi according to ESPN and every news network.

by KTJ on Jul 12, 2008 2:26 PM PDT up reply actions

The Giants should come up with a song to sing at the end of wins at home to annoy the hell out of the opposing teams. Of course, we won’t be hearing the song very often, so we wouldn’t tire of too quickly.
