756 Ball Going to Hall After All
Apparently the idiot who bought the ball (who shall remain nameless) had a change of heart and wants the ball to be in Cooperstown after all...

"Bonds' record-breaker lands at Hall Ecko agrees to donate ball from home run No. 756"
By Barry M. Bloom / MLB.com
The odyssey surrounding the ball hit by Barry Bonds for his record-breaking 756th homer last Aug. 7 at AT&T Park took another twist on Tuesday. It landed in the National Baseball Hall of Fame at 7:45 p.m. ET, replete with an asterisk cut out of the leather above the Major League Baseball imprint. And despite conflicting information issued by the Hall earlier in the day, the ball is now in possession of the red-bricked museum on Main Street in Cooperstown, N.Y., courtesy of designer Marc Ecko. It will be placed on display after the usual documentation process.

Jesus!!!
Isn’t this like what we’d been talking about for quite some time now?!? There’s another place for this post to go, and creating a new fan post is not the answer. Someone either delete this thing or move it elsewhere.
Adoptive papa to Omar...so basically I'm screwed.
Redundant?
lol sorry if it is. However, I’m a noob here and thought it might be worth a post, considering the “Not Going to Cooperstown” story was…
I'm okay with it.
It’s a story and it’s better that it doesn’t get buried.
Trent Kline: Decentish. Also, my website is called ChatterBalks Dot Com and on it I make jokes about things.
Much like gorillas in that way.

Hey, no filler, so it’s fine by me.
If you could go back in and leave a link, though, and maybe actually cut down some of the text, that would be great. Copyright bubkus and all.

DUDE, you’re on a huge awesomeness roll right now!
The last time we asked a guy to make copyright bubkus easy on us, we got a bunch of lip from five people who thought we were being communists.
You get +5 charisma/

I think the Hall of Fame should put an asterisk on the display.
*This display, having been donated by a private party, is officially part of the Hall of Fame. However, the donor is a pretty big jerk-off and his “vote” is dubious at best. We should not be in the business of editorializing so this whole display highlights the general lack of credibility that we possess.
Only 890 games until the end of Zito's contract

What I don’t understand is why Bill Hall even wants Barry Bonds’ record-breaking homerun ball.

Why don’t you respond to his comments instead of distorting what he said, huh?
Only 889 games until the end of Zito's contract
I can only imagine that you’ve been waiting to do that for days now. I am amused.

Monty Hall might want it.
"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.
