Alex Hinshaw: on the front page of something??
http://sports.yahoo.com/fantasy/mlb/news;_ylt=Al6Pzp1M6ppYLo3Hn4oFtxVNC5kB?slug=be-noise_060608
Funny. Hinshaw would be one of the last people I'd expect to be seeing on the front page of Y! Fanasy news. There are plenty of interesting middle relievers with little shot at being closers this year--why pick Hinshaw? I'm happy, but also kind of sad because he used to be hardcore-Giants-fans' little secret.
Alex Hinshaw: phenomenal enough to warrant being on the front page of Y! Fantasy despite having little-to-no fantasy value?

After i read that article yesterday afternoon I checked my 4th year dynasty league and someone had picked him up earlier yesterday. I said my piece and left him to his dead roster spot.
I mean Hinshaw is pretty awesome but not fantasy awesome yet.

I saw that artile too and was a little shocked. Hinshaw however is by far my favorite Giant next to Timmy.

You like him more than Cain already?
I like Hinshaw too, but still. I don’t really know him as a player, I just know he seems to be very good. But I still like Cain, Rowand, Timmy, and Bengie more.

I dunno, I think Hinshaw is pretty darn shiny myself.

Shiny Shiny, sure, but he’s been with the team for like a day…
I suppose if somebody followed him in the minors, then there’s no conflict here. But if one is picking Hinshaw over Cain with this little ML under Hinshaw’s belt having not followed the guy’s career path, not being some kind of relative or friend, or not having some super-sentimental story… that’s like when my ex told me she loved this other guy more than me even though she’d only known him a couple weeks. I mean, it’s not like two High School juniors who fought all the time and made each other feel completely inadequate were going to be together forever to begin with, but come on.
Not that it’s really blasphemy. It’s not. Perfectly acceptable, even. Some people just like things differently than I do… some people don’t even like Matt Cain at all… and that’s fine… but it still hurts….

Hi Howie, it’s me, the one with a five second attention span who’s also the biggest minor league nerd this side of Steve S.

That’s weird, when I was writing all that I thought I did a better job of making it clear that when I was talking about following their minor league careers, I was talking about you.
But on further review, I didn’t do that at all. Weird.

About your ex who loved the other guy more than she loved you...
... I have been meaning to apologize about that for a long time. I have always felt bad about it. Sorry, How. If it would make you feel better, you’re welcome to her.

No hard feelings. Once I got over it and got to know you a little, I think I understand where she was coming from.
