Rowand is ailing with his strained quad/hip thing. He’s out but available off the bench. John Bowker makes a start in left field, Lewis shifts to center. Emmanuel Burriss still waiting for a start in his hometown. Bruce Bochy said it’ll come tomorrow afternoon, which will be even hotter. All the young kids can handle it.
