That's just wrong.
The Milk House just does not sound like a place for sports.
What it does sound like, I won’t say, since I’m posting from work.

Maybe your meeting is with Brian Sabean, and he’ll want to know which player the Giants should draft.

We feel good about our first four picks on the last Mock Draft: Beckham, then Pedro Alvarez to the Pirates, Eric Hosmer to the Royals and Brian Matusz to the Orioles. The problem with the mock draft is the Giants. They could go Justin Smoak, but BA’s Matt Blood reports from Orlando that he’s getting Buster Posey vibes at five. That would shake up our projected second half of the top 10 to look like this:

Catcher position
Do the Giants see Pablo Sandoval as a Major Leaguer at some position other than Catcher? Or are they simply thinking that depth at C is hugely important?

So they’ll be having fake conversations while they wait, likely about the merits of Bea Arthur and Hot Pockets.

they were sayin the pirates are gonna sign alvarez to a major league contract.. how does that work? is he immediately put on the 40 man? or are they just saying hes gonna make a lot of money

He immediately goes to the 40-man
If I recall correctly.

Would we rather have Smoak or Hosmer though?
Ive read recently that Sabes is high on Hosmer and is athletica enough to make a move tothe outfield.

KC hosmer
..and why does everyone hate on Posey? The only problem with him is the bonus demand.
by wcw on Jun 5, 2008 11:28 AM PDT reply actions 0 recs
I’m guessing it’s the homer, as in he might not haz none. (Well, 10-15, not 30.)
by GiantsFanInExile on Jun 5, 2008 11:29 AM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
Posey would probably be fine. However, Smoak is supposed to be closer to the bigs and more power
