Zito didn't pitch thaaat bad
But the breaks don’t always fall your way…sometimes the Bullpen lets you down.
For instance…Timmy has been hurt by the bullpen 3 times. Tyler has cost him 2 victories, and given up 3 of his baserunners to score. This is over 3 occasions. No one else in the bullpen has hurt Timmy, tho.
You could argue that the last start he didnt’ really cost Timmy the W, but I think he did so :P

Zito walked five in 4 1/3 innings
And he gave up seven hits. That’s not good.

One ass kicking deserves another. It was the Giants turn tonight.

Can we just take 2 of 3 instead of what we did last series?

Better make it three
to make up for the two unearned runs caused by Castillo and Durham errors.
That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more!
Why is it that every woman the Giants hire is insufferable?

Sounds like the beginning of a fantastic new sitcom!

I don't like my game either.
I play a game with myself when I go away from gameday. I just went to get something to eat with the score 3-1. I try to guess the score when I come back and alway guess really BAD so I can be pleasantly surpirsed. I guessed 7-1. whooops.

I think Lewis would be better 6 or 7
He doesn’t have the power for 3 – 5
by positiveuphemism on Jun 3, 2008 9:10 PM PDT up reply actions
.357 OBP
is not suited to top of the order
I like Lewis a lot, but I am realistic about where he ideally fits in. As we knew going into the season, this is a team of 6-8 hitters with a couple that could swing #5 or #1 or #2 (but really no one ideal for those 3)

I like how they have the “Stay tuned for Giants Postgame Live” graphic and it’s only the 6th inning.

I have many reasons why I do not like HRC but this is definitely one of them
Newsweek’s Howard Fineman just said on MSNBC at 8:35pm Eastern that the Clinton campaign is demanding that Hillary be offered the VP position, which she will then decline, and then Fineman quotes the Clinton campaign as saying “don’t you dare offer it to another woman.” Isn’t that special. Apparently, Hillary was only planning on breaking her own personal glass ceiling. For the rest of you, you can break you own.

that was supposed to be under scorned not stoned
but then I’m sipping a long island ice tea, and I don’t even care about the game anymore
Rowand makes me sad....
because he’s not going to be good once the team’s back in contention. And he’s still going to be paid a whole lot
oh yeah
i think Zito’s contract like one of those really bad childhood memories that you suppress until you get clinical treatment
You finally get to a primal scream
And then you want one every damn day after that
I just got home
I voted for the over. Damn, I’m good.
Only 914 games until the end of Zito's contract
C'mon baby
Light this team on fire.
Don’t you know it’s all right.
Turned America on its head
Jose sang the National Anthem during the WS in the late 60’s. He gave the song his own personal touch. The first to do in front of a large audience. He got some death threats.
Started a trend
Now, if you don’t change and spruce up that clunky anthem, fans felt you with garlic fries.
Sure, I get ripped for a baby seal comment,
but you fling PELT around with impunity.
It’s just not fair!!

Adding Correia
the return of Correia to the starting rotation should strengthen the team. And the return of Valdez will also help.

Draft tidbits
From BA’s John Manuel:
• The Giants and first-year scouting director John Barr could have a pleasant surprise at five. They’re said to have Hosmer at the top of their board but he may not get that far. However, Beckham or Posey might, which would give the Giants the chance to draft a premium middle-of-the-diamond player.
Now: A new goal --
A premium, middle-of-the-front-office GM.
I'd mention maply syrup and chicken feathers
but Robbgin might salivate.

Cosmically significant? You be the judge.
