Schulman blog reporting a bullepen callup
speculation centers around Romo (you know Sergio?) and Espinelli I guess. Who should we hope gets the boot? Any chance that they would send a position player down to make room for an extra arm? Is there any chance that this would make much of a difference?
Wow, this team really does suck. It sucks in so many ways that it's difficult to measure out 75 words of expressing the suck. Should the new team slogan be "you're going to like these suck?" Or perhaps, "Humm baby, these guys suck?"

As long as it’s not Munter.
And they may as well send down Denker, there’s no point in him rotting on the bench up here.

And take ABs away from Downs?!
Hopefully Durham is gone by this time next month and Denker starts seeing some more PT.

No way they send down a position player...
...and have only 4 guys on the bench, one of whom is the backup catcher.
The obvious candidates to be sent down are Chulk (who’s struggling) or either Sadler or Hinshaw (as the last guys up). Hinshaw’s been pitching too well, and is one of only two lefties in the pen, so I think he stays. I’m not sure about Chulk’s option status – I don’t think he has any left, which means they’d have to DFA him. I would bet on Sadler being the one just by process of elimination, even though he’s pitched decently.
Of course, it’s also possible someone is going on the DL, in which case all bets are off.

Chulk does suck. Haven’t seen him pitch well once. I would rather watch Sadler try to harness his 95 mph fastball than watch this chump anyday.

Chulk pitched very well and consistently before his circulation problems last season. He hasn’t been good this year, but he has been very good in the past and there is reason to believe that he could be very good again in the future.
Anyway, why lose an arm altogether when you still have options on different guys who are also struggling right now?

FWIW, Schul’s blog is no longer saying anything. Actually theres a headline, “bullpen change coming” but I can’t get any text.
Chulk is so bad, maybe he is hurt. If he isnt hurt, I can only say good luck, Vinnie
Sadler has options but I like him with the big club. And he’s the best righty to follow Sanchez as I keep saying.

Who do you think Romo will outperform?
Currently I rank the bullpen performance thus:
1. Wilson
2. Taschner
3. Walker
4. Yabu
5. Hinshaw (needs more IP)
6. Sadler
Unless he’s just totally overwhelmed by the jump, I can imagine we can get better performance out of him than we’ve gotten from Sadler.
