My Barry Zito Story
So after the game the day Zito got sent to the bullpen my dad and I went to Dennys in Larkspur when who should walk in? The one and only Barry Zito. I didn’t want to bother him and in an attempt to pick up his spirits and hopefully turn him around we picked up his tab…
I want my money back
You know, he does actually have enough money to pay for himself.

Never mind that...
...$126M and he eats at freaking Denny’s? Have they started offering a lobster grand slam recently?
All-Father Watch: 1.11 ERA, 6 saves, 0.90 WHIP, 34 Ks in 32 1/3 IP
you better be kidding
you actually paid for a guy who’s making 10 fucking million dollars this season?
He should have had to pay for you for sucking so bad. These guys should be able to take their bad performance- they’re pros.
He was thinking of retirement. But when you picked up the check it lifted his spirits. Thanks.
Don't think, it could only hurt the ballclub.

No
there really is no reason to panic. It’s not like we’re losing a playoff spot- we know we suck, so why panic when that plays out on the field?

This is why we don’t see more of Denker, I think. Not real handy with the glove.
That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more!
then why have we seen years of Durham?
" Their still Shitty" - Major Leagues the movie.
I am a Giants fan. Thus I enjoy my pain. Currently enjoying it more then usual.
Durham hasn’t always been bad defensively. He is now, but in his prime, he was a decent second baseman. Not great, but pretty OK. Denker has looked about as bad defensively as he has looked good at the plate.
That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more!
That's fine
but I really don’t care what Durham was in his prime, since that was like 10 years ago. Denker is at least young and learning- Durham is just old and can’t play.
If you’re asking what I would prefer, I’d say “More Denker, please”. I’m just making a ridiculously futile attempt at explaining the Giants’ logic. /oxymoron
