Villalona out?
Hey, does anyone know why Villalona hasn't played for the last week?
Ummm this 75 word thing is really goofy. I'll just copy and paste some text from my current work emails.
I’ve brought some skim milk, protein shake powder, as well as oranges, cherries, and grapes.
All of this is in the break room, please feel free.
(If you do want a shake, I recommend 2 scoops of mix to one bullet cup.)

The cherries are really kickass right now. I got some at the grocery last week that were the best ever.
As for V, I don’t know.

Had some red and yellow cherries that I bought at the Ferry Building. Some good eats on a warm night.
I thought I read somewhere here that V got hit by a pitch recently and hasn’t been in for a while because of that.

The one at Todos Santos? I wanted to go by there this week but my knee basically exploded. I hope I’ll be mobile enough to go next week. I scored some heirloom tomatoes there for $1 a pound about a month ago!

Well...
He got hit by a pitch on the wrist on 6/6. He stayed in the game but hasn’t played since.
I’ve been looking for some info, but I can’t find anything. I’m guessing that’s good news though, since if it was serious, we would have heard by now.

Which is why I use Fan Shots.

I don’t know why people don’t use Fanshots more often around here. Other blogs have Fanshots posted regularly. It’s not like they’re that far down the page. They’re right under the Fanposts. Also 75 words is a perfectly reasonable amount to write a post that’s not too long and not too short.

On my computer (Mac/Firefox), the Fanshots load a lot later than everything else on the page. I tend to click through to other things before I even see them.

75 words is a lot. You have to say stuff about things.

Wait? You have to say stuff about things??? I’ve been saying stuff about stuff.
Well that’s completely different. It’s REALLY hard to say stuff about things. Stuff about stuff is total cakewalk in comparison.

For the record
I agree that the Fan Shot feature should be used more, and it’s not that hard to find.
My earlier post was merely a random Simpsons reference that crossed my mind (happens quite often).
Carry on.

Very hard to find in Boston. I don’t remember that being the case in California. True/false?
29-35.... But 20-6 when Timmy/Dirty pitch. 9-29 otherwise.

That was back in ‘03. I don’t think it’s called that anymore.

Thanks!
Thanks, Wilriv. I was about to ask if anyone actually had any information regarding the title of the thread, and suddenly there you were with the last post before this one.
AnVil wound up with a single and three strikeouts in four at bats, while Jackson Williams and Charlie Culberson combined to go 6-for-7. Culberson had two singles, a double and a home run to drive in six runs and raise his season’s average to .222. Williams is still on the interstate at just .160.
Williams is almost certainly the best defensive catcher in the system already and has show at least a modicum of power, but he has never looked like a guy who would hit for an acceptable average.

What an understatement. I mean, .160, damn. He better be ranging all the way out to center field to cover for that.
