Making a 1-6 pitcher with an ERA of 5.15 look like a Cy Young contender.

when in a rundown, sprint towards an defender (the closer to the pitcher’s mound the better) who doesn’t have the ball. the Umps will call interference and award you the next base.

So

If Sabean had actually gone for that ridiculous Lincecum-for-Rios deal, would it have been the worst trade evah?

Aside from Lincecum’s awesomeitude, Rios is sporting a .699 OPS with 3 HR this year. And was never all that great to begin with.

no outs and a good hitter at the plate in the best hitters stadium ever.

I feel relatively sanguine...

Because I refuse to believe the Giants can actually contend for a postseason spot this year, win or lose, I see this as just another great outing from Lincecum.

That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more!
