My theory
it’s a mercy clause.
In the post-humidor years, when the Rox have been not a billion games out, their usual massic home/road has been a lot less.

They just showed the JT-picks-up-Darren-Baker clip. I was at that game and was watching the ball come in from the outfield and didn’t see JT crossing the plate. I looked up and saw JT holding Baker and thought WTF?
