Thanks to Gameday, I now know I can watch REO SPEEDWAGON perform live at mlb.com!

Question

Is it worth starting a new thread? This game is ridiculous.

And again Rowand misplays a ball in the OF….

by Hobbes2d on Jun 10, 2008 7:50 PM PDT reply actions

Down on the farm

Tim Alderson is pitching for San Jose tonight. Three innings no runs and 4Ks.

by wilriv21 on Jun 10, 2008 7:50 PM PDT reply actions

Sweet

Alderson continuing his impressive season at SJ at age 19. His K rate is going up and up too. I need to go see his next start me thinks. I saw Sosa about a week ago, looked pretty good for only his 2nd start of the year.

by Hobbes2d on Jun 10, 2008 7:53 PM PDT up reply actions

Gamers misjudge fly balls….

okay, that was a double all the way

Don't think, it could only hurt the ballclub.

by ResDog on Jun 10, 2008 7:51 PM PDT reply actions

I know its Coors and the OF is big...

but let’s face it, Rowand is not Andruw Jones circa 2000, there’s no reason he should be playing so shallow, even if its Omar Quintinilla.

by Hobbes2d on Jun 10, 2008 7:52 PM PDT up reply actions

I think Rowand too a bad angle

He did indeed. Just like with the ground rule double.

by Hobbes2d on Jun 10, 2008 7:53 PM PDT up reply actions

but then he couldn’t have dived for it! dived? dove? it’s late

Don't think, it could only hurt the ballclub.

Man, rough night

Even the power of Battuta can only get one run.

I gotta pause the box when that one comes on, then skip over it after an appropriate amount of time. Don’t want the little girls seeing that one.

THINGS I HATE

1. The Rockies cheating with the humidor
2. The Rockies huge home/road split
3. The Rockies

by SnowLeopard on Jun 10, 2008 8:06 PM PDT reply actions

Yeah

i’m surprised MLB hasn’t done anything about this yet. They have to know how rampantly the Rockies cheat.

by positiveuphemism on Jun 10, 2008 8:08 PM PDT up reply actions

My theory

it’s a mercy clause.

In the post-humidor years, when the Rox have been not a billion games out, their usual massic home/road has been a lot less.

by SnowLeopard on Jun 10, 2008 8:09 PM PDT up reply actions

Thank You Alex Hinshaw and Vinnie Chulk

You helped to improve my fantasy teams’ offense tonight by serving up HR’s to Atkins and Helton. I guess if we are to lose, me benefitting from it somehow is a plus.

by Hobbes2d on Jun 10, 2008 8:11 PM PDT reply actions

Alex Hinshaw has two blackbelts! I want to see him drill someone and have the hitter charge the mound and get their ass kicked.

Does he really?

"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' I really like this Horowitz kid..

Plus he doesn’t have the hole in his swing like Bowker.
