The fire brigade wasn't done for the night, because struggling setup man Tyler Walker pitched himself into trouble again in the eighth.
"It looked like he got tired there," Bochy said. "A polar bear doesn't do well in the heat."

Bochy sounds like such a rube in interviews, but every once in a while he busts out a little nugget of wisdom like this.
Funny you say that
I’ve never thought much of Bochy being interviewed, and his radio show is nothing to write home about, but I was at AT&T a couple of winters ago (post Benjie signing, pre Zito signing), and Bochy was hilarious most of the evening. I left there expecting that to come out on the radio, but very little of it has. All that being said (and poorly), that’s a great friggin’ line.
Polar bears are man-eaters...
But they’re also an endangered species. Bruce Bochy has given us much to ponder.
