C’mon, it’s not that hard to fill in 75 words. I’m sure the powers that be put that limit there to get people to put some thought into their fanposts.

I’m one wordy mofo when I write. I could write 7500 words on how Rowand looks like a flailing dolphin out of water on that faceplant slide. Though not all of us are gifted with language as a form of expression.

Though I do ask…isn’t the “haha look at the funny photo” and no commentary post for the Fanshots section?

Yeah, this is the perfect type of post for a FanShot, although I never check those so I would have missed it.

Or, alternately, there’s the “fanshot” option.

Kruk and Kuip had a name for this type of slide, Ellison used to slide like this, but with less face grindage, some type of sea animal or something?

I wanted to adopt, but all the good looking babies were taken

It’s still not as bad as Klesko’s slide into 3rd base last year.

by xanthan on Jun 2, 2008 5:27 AM PDT reply actions

Lewis also had a pretty bad one into third base this year.

Less arm, more talk. Raisingcain is a GAMER.

Yeah it was sort of a dive and then a flop.

In an effort to improve on last year’s rhinoplasty as well as enhance his gritty reputation, Aaron Rowand attempts to steal second base without using his feet.

As I am limited to playing softball these days, this picture is in essence the reason I always slide feet first. That and I am afraid someone will jump up and land on my hands, head, or back (or all of the above). Ouch!
