Why throw Feliz a fastball? I was about to comment that Misch should throw anything but a fastball and he throws a freakin’ fastball.

He does have a really nice curveball. It’s big like Zitos but doesn’t have as much of a hump.

Franny gets his cast off
The cast had been removed Friday from his left foot. Frandsen, 25, had surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon March 29 and is expected to miss the entire season. Frandsen hopes to recover quickly enough to play in September, even if it’s in instructional league, although he admitted that could be far-fetched. Frandsen intends to participate in the Arizona Fall League or winter ball so he can get some at-bats before next Spring Training.

Third strike. Man on second moved up right away. Man on first didn’t get that good of a jump and if Burris/Velez had covered it would have been a close play at second to get him.
