Matt Cain Suicide Watch Alert Level Raised

Here’s good news:

LHP Barry Zito was supposed to be available in relief for the first time Friday, but manager Bruce Bochy said Saturday will be his first day in which he can be summoned. Bochy used six relievers Friday, so there’s a decent chance Zito will get action in relief of RHP Matt Cain on Saturday.

Zito at Citizens Bank Park? I’m sure giving up multiple home runs is just what Zito needs to get back on track.

the pheonix is poised to rise from the ashes. What better way then three shut out innings in relief of Cain.

Together they through a no hitter because Cain ends up throwing 120 pitches with 15 strike outs through 6.
