Looking like a six inning outing

Only 920 games until the end of Zito's contract

by thehavenot on May 28, 2008 7:56 PM PDT up reply actions

So we can expect to see Walker and Wilson later, right?

by jcb9 on May 28, 2008 7:57 PM PDT up reply actions

NOOO!!!

no veteran savvy from him!!.

If he had pitched last night like he was supposed to, Timmy’s ERA would currently be lower.

I’m sort of torn between thinking it’s cool and weeping in the corner for what might have been.

by jcb9 on May 28, 2008 7:59 PM PDT up reply actions

True, but this many years later I have come to peace with it.

I s’pose. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to see Salomon Torres without feeling a little queasy, though.

I just really wanted to post a Rihanna pic.

Y’know, Lewis has a long ways to go, and he’s awfully old to be a player who still has a long way to go, but even still, he’s become about my favorite hitter on our team. Some measure of production! From our farm system! Not in his later 30s!

Hey, FSN AZ sideline reporter douchebag...

you DO know there’s a baseball game being played, right? Just because your team is losing doesn’t mean you get to ignore the field… Dumbass

by bondslegend on May 28, 2008 8:03 PM PDT reply actions

It's strategy!

Bochy’s using his head. See? 3-1. It’s all working out.

Only 920 games until the end of Zito's contract

Oy

According to Flemming, we have as many bases loaded walks as hits this year (4 of each)

by jcb9 on May 28, 2008 8:12 PM PDT reply actions

I like free runs.

I also like my son Manny.

Still would like a walk. According to Flem, the Giants now has as many walks as hits with the bases loaded this year: 4.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA Kuip’s buildup to that was hilarious.

His usual home run call “HIGH….DEEEEEEEEP…” then he just went “foul” in a quiet voice.

second to Matt Vasgersian of the Padres...

I think Sutton’s get the best disappointed tone.

by ExcuseMeSwing on May 28, 2008 8:15 PM PDT up reply actions

He's worse than Vasgergian,

at least IMHO. He is just so totally unwilling to admit that the other team did something exciting it’s ridiculous.

I wanted Hinshaw last night,

Walker came in. I was screaming about it, and someone said that Walker has VETERAN SAVVVY!!!!!!!one.

I think that’s how fathead makes his decisions a lot of times. He just plays vets for the sake of playing vets. It was even a left-handed batter.

eh, makes sense now

i like to see hinshaw take the 8th for now
