He's thinking
“WHY THE FUCK IS THIS TEAM RUN BY A BUNCH OF IDIOTS?!?!?adhfioahjoifhjeoihOIJJKLNELKWNELANLEJIOJIOEOIJNFE”
Oh wait, that’s me. And Walker is terrible.
What a bullpen...
Yabu can’t throw strikes to .157 hitting Jacque Jones, who even swings at pickoff throws to first base. Taschner can’t throw strikes to .179 hitting Cody Ross. Then Tyler Walker comes in sporting his 6.30 ERA.

I left the game in your hands!
And you left me down!
Only 923 games until the end of Zito's contract
BOOOOOOOOOOO
That was for you, Thyler (and the havenot)

You can not look at me.
Only 923 games until the end of Zito's contract
HEY! THIS IS AJ BURNETT/VICTOR MARTINEZ/DEREK JETER!!!
ALL MY GAMES ARE ON MLB.TV, BUT YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT BECAUSE YOU’RE ALREADY WATCHING MLB.TV!!!!!!!!! God these commercials are fucking stupid.
Tyler Walker
earlier in the season he was very shiny and was hoping we would get something good for him at the deadline
First to Occur?
1. Cain Snaps and ends up at Arkham Insane Asylum
2. Zito wins 10 Games
Let's bring the...
Definitely Cain Snapping. Hopefully he takes Zito out in his initial outburst.

I've considered your offer, Natto
And I think I would prefer not to get on the bullpen carousel.

Update
I threw the milk away.
Tyler Walker sucks.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.

If my mock of FAILing had output a double post, that would have been Legen-Dairy. BUT, just like the Giants, it came up a little short.

The ad behind the plate is no longer a Univision ad.

Call 305-626-SAVE for excellent group rates.
I’m not sure on what, but it’s Miami so I’m assuming hookers.

If they had excellent group rates on tickets, then there would be more people there.
Duh.

Apparently FLA doesn’t think Castillo can hit the inside pitch.

I'd rather have Hinshaw
But what are the Giants going to do with Threets when his rehab assignment is over?

He will mysteriously disappear
but a week later, a masked left-hander will arrive in Fresno going by the name of Chester Treki.
Always be prepared for this team.
Still in despair.

It was a press box error
The K&K were talking about it too, but they cleared it up

Did you see that, Jack Taschner?
Pitching to Jacque Jones: not difficult

bruce bochys' head just exploded
sadly (?) this pretty much meant the end of Florida
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
wait, someone tell me what’s actually going on.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
Burriss got on with a walk but was caught stealing. Freddie struck out for the second out…. and Durham just struck out.
1. Manny walks
2. HNR swing/miss by lewis caught stealing Burriss
3. Lewis strikes out
4. 0-2 on Durham
cool
I wonder what his pitch limit is tonight
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
I’m thinking SpeeDee Oil Change And Tuneup!

and they'll get to 2 strikes on the last batter
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
Me too
But I’m even more sick of Giants pitchers’ inability to throw this idiot strikes.
That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more!
WOW!! What a great idea!
Walk a .256 hitter to load the bases for Uggla!!!!111eleveen

YOU JUST DONT UNDERSTAND BOCHY'S STRATEGY!!!11!!
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
especially when the gameday thread was so fun
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
In fact, before I came, I was out at the park with my wife and almost-two-year-old son. A crazy woman, calling herself Tally-Franny-Alpha-Beta started ranting at me that I should leave my wife, who’s Chinese American, because, even if you mess around with them, they won’t think about God the way you do, they’ll always think of God in the Asian way.
That was a lot better than the end of the game.
CONTENDERS!!!
Trade for some more veteran savvy Sabes!!

Activity for tomorrow's day off
Strike throwing clinic for bullpen pitchers from Rags and Gardy
That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more!
Just tuning in (seriously)
Family commitments saved me from listening to this apparent debacle but can anyone who was following along tell me why they took out Cain after only 98 pitches (assuming the box score is correct)?.
because he doesn't need to throw 115 pitches a game
I’m 100% fine with taking Cain out when they did
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
I wonder what he thinks about that
Obviously he does to keep the ball out of the hands of the bullpen. Anyway, there’s absolutely no sign he needs to be babied at this point.
by NearestNorwich on May 25, 2008 5:37 PM PDT up reply actions
98 pitches isn’t exactly babying though. and he had a bit of a rough 6th.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
Exactly
If he’s ever going to be an ace, he has to learn to follow a rough 6th with a good 7th. Juan and Gaylord must be laughing at this staff.

Don't know
especially since he had the extra day of rest from Thursday off day and then another one from Saturday rainout.
Sox
Count me in, although it’s even more fun to lol the Yankees.
In positive Giants news
I found a vintage Giants Starter jacket on Haight today for 18 bucks. And it was in my size! Score!
When I first read that
I thought you said vintage Giants strait jacket. Which would also be a nice find right about now.
That is a pretty sweet deal though. WTG!
That's all I can stands, I can't stands no more!
Mike Nolan-esque
I am sure Sabean & Bochy will attempt to convince us all, despite everythimg to the contrary, that thighler’s veteran leadership is critical in the game-changing momernts, and no changes will be forthcoming.( Kinda like the way Nolan wouldn’t admit a mistake with Hostler as OC) Looks like they’re gonna run this ship aground with veteran “savvy” so we’ll learn nothing about the young guys, all the while continuing to pat themselves on the back for acquiring Castle off of waivers.. Even though the young guys make mistakes, this team is exponentially more watchable with them playing. Sabean and Bochy are f*ing arrogant morons.

out of town scores
Cincy and Sandy Eggo are STILL playing baseball. 16th inning… corey patterson, 0 for 8. I through Corey was offically done a year ago, but he’s apparently lining himself up to be a free agent Giant in ‘09.
Henry Sosa update
Pitched 4 shutout innings today for San Jose. He allowed only 2 hits, 1 walk and struckout 5. Nice start to you season Kiki.
Kiki?

Not quite the same yet
I guess it’s an age thing. I know too many Sox fans who suffered for decades to equate their situation with the Yanks at this point. Also, I think the Sox have been smarter in their free agent signings and trades than the Yanks and in developing talent and so, to a certain degree, are a bit more deserving.
It's my fault.
I was listening to the Midnight Replay as I tooled from PHX to LV…kinda cool , no commercials.
Not cool – no wins. They replayed the whole first game but I guess time restrictions and a sense of mercy led them to just give a short wrapup of the second. Rowand and Molina were on fire there for an hour or so , eh?
Who took the bullpen out and bought them all hookers and blow?
Who could afford it?
Who was looking to bring them down to his level of SUCKsess?
I know.
