With all this FIRST!!!!111 business, it makes me think of my anthropology studying this afternoon. I laid out a chart of all the primates from 65 million years ago to today, starting with Pugatorius. I wrote “FIRST” by it because it was the first primate in the fossil record.
So, technically, Purgatorius was FIRST!!!1111 Unless you came along at 66 MYA or earlier.

Purgatorius
Didn’t Sabean try to sign him to play first base?
Don't think, it could only hurt the ballclub.
You can’t deny his veteran savvy.

That made me laugh. I was thinking his last several outings? But yes, I guess you go with him.

That’s why I laughed. I was only considering Wilson lately. When you asked it like that I realized that there really weren’t other options at this point.

How is it that, almost two months into the season, we don’t have some sort of image with which to honor Wilson’s face merkin?
I think his Merkin is dominated
by his crazy eyes

No lie. is he just ineffective at painting corners with his ‘waste-one’ 0-2 pitches… or is he just plain careless?
I think he is just an ultimate nibbler

Memo to Brian Wilson:
You’re not actually required to walk someone every game.
All-Father Watch: 1.16 ERA, 4 saves, 0.99 WHIP, 23 Ks in 23 1/3 IP
Has Wilson ever had an inning under 20 pitches? He sure nibbles a lot.
Less arm, more talk. Raisingcain is a GAMER.
Adopted Giant: Henry Sosa
WTF
On GameCast, balls 3 and 4 were right in the middle of the little red strike zone box.
Is GameCast high, or the ump?

Denker and Dodd
Denker, who becomes the youngest Giant at age 22, didn’t appear to be bound for the Majors when the season began. He hit .184 in 25 games with Double-A Connecticut. Yet, he was promoted to Triple-A Fresno after Burriss was summoned to the Giants in late April and regained his stroke, batting .315 in 17 games.“Being in 30-degree weather every day doesn’t help,” Denker said, referring to his Connecticut stint. “I really didn’t feel like hitting when I was there.”
LOL
Too much information, Kruk: “If I’m up at 3am this morning, do you know what that means? I have to pee.”
Eagerly awaiting Crazy Crab Bobblehead Night on 7/18.
Have you guys realized
that of the 18 wins the Giants have, Wilson has been a factor in 14.. quite nice to have a somewhat reliable closer
